GLENDALE, AZ – In December 2015, Desert Diamond Casino West Valley opened its 49,000 square foot temporary casino in Glendale, AZ, just east of Loop 101 and W Northern Ave. The temporary gaming space housed over 1,000 slot machines. , a full bar and food court. Now, as Desert Diamond Casino West Valley continues to grow, it plans to use the casino’s former interim space for warehousing and storage to support its ongoing operations. The demolition and renovation of the interior space is scheduled for early October 2022. In the meantime, the contents of the former temporary casino must be removed and emptied before construction can begin.
Desert Diamond Casino West Valley has decided to conduct an online auction of the remaining assets and open it to the general public and Valley residents.
“It’s not often that the public is invited to purchase items from such a large organization,” said Chris Rushford, operations manager for LocalAuctions.com. “It’s an incredible opportunity for the people of the Valley to have the chance to purchase part of the first casino to open in Glendale.”
There are over 200 items up for auction including the full bar, restaurant equipment, neon signs, booths, ceiling mounted speakers, surveillance cameras, custom decorative lighting and accessories. other decorative and casino items.
“Even though there are no slot machines or gaming tables up for auction, there are some amazing and unique items for businesses and residents to bid on,” Rutherford said.
