For the first time in more than a year, the San Antonio Police Department is holding a public auction of confiscated property on August 24, with approximately 100 items up for auction.

For the first time in over a year, the San Antonio Police Department is holding a public auction of confiscated property on August 24. The police department will auction approximately 100 items.

The auction will take place at Veterans of Foreign Wars post 9186 at 650 VFW Blvd. on the south side at 6:30 p.m. Payments will be available by cash or credit card, excluding American Express, and check-in and property viewing will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Some of the items are bags and bins of clothes, shoes and power tools. However, there are a few more notable elements.

  • A Chicago Electric jackhammer
  • A Chicago Electric brand “demolition hammer”
  • Two Xbox 1 gaming tips
  • 17 pairs of Air Jordan shoes and two pairs of Nike LeBron shoes
  • A silver Gucci watch, a belt and several pairs of shoes
  • A silver women’s watch from the Louis Vuitton brand
  • A pair of Versace women’s shoes
