Monday, February 7

Silent auction of book lots from the Friends of the Havre-Hill County Library, opening hours, at the library. Auction items – several book lots covering an assortment of authors and interests – can be viewed at the library. The last bids will be taken on February 17 at noon.

Melodious Mondays, with Mary Stevens playing piano at Havre-Hill County Library, 10 a.m., 402 3rd St. It’s free and open to everyone.

Lap swimming, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., community swimming pool in Le Havre.

Tuesday February 8

Hill County Home COVID-19 Antigen Test Distribution, Free, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until she’s gone, Great Northern Fairgrounds. Enter through the west entrance only.

Lil’ Pony Cheer Camp for grades 6-8, 3:45-5 p.m., Havre High. The high school students will practice with the cheer squad all week, learn a few cheers and the school song, then cheer with the HHS JV cheerleaders at halftime of the basketball game JV Girls’ Ball and will perform the school song with HHS varsity cheerleaders before Feb. 4 college game. Streaming, a community education class, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Triangle Communications reception room. The instructor will contrast and compare streaming equipment, services and discuss alternatives to cable and satellite TV, and explain new terminology as technology advances. Tuneful Tuesdays, 4 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library, with Barb Zuck playing harp. This event is free and open to the public.

Burger Feed fundraiser, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Eagles Club. The meal includes salad, baked beans, fries and all the trimmings with a 1/4 pound burger, $7, and a double burger, $8. All proceeds, plus some proceeds from the 6:30 p.m. bingo, will go to the current Eagles Club project.

Wednesday February 9

Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Children aged 0-5 and caregivers are encouraged to attend, but all are welcome. This program is free and open to the public.

Storytime, 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library, with a craft to follow. This program is free and open to the public.

Cake Decorating for Valentine’s Day, A Community Education Class, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Havre High Room 53. Participants will decorate a pre-made heart-shaped cake to take home as they learn the techniques of piping, fondant embellishments, and best practices for filling icing bags. and using various advice.
