A luxury watch and designer items were seized from a road rage suspect who had an outstanding court order against him.
Police were first called to a collision between a tipper van and a car in Chatham Hill, Chatham at around 5.25pm on Thursday January 13.
But as patrols were en route, the two occupants of the van allegedly behaved aggressively towards the driver of the car, before asking him to use a banking app to transfer £1,000.
The two men, aged 28 and 37 and from Whitstable and Rochester respectively, were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and possession of cannabis.
Although they have since been released pending further investigation into the matter, the 28-year-old has been recalled to prison for breaching the terms of a license imposed for a separate matter.
He was also found to have an outstanding forfeiture order, worth £76,481, against his name.
A search of his home led to the seizure of valuable assets, as they are believed to have been acquired with the proceeds of crime.
Items seized include a Rolex Yacht Master watch and large amounts of designer clothing, shoes and handbags.
On Monday, financial investigators from the Serious Crimes Branch of Kent and Essex successfully applied for an additional warrant of detention at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.
The warrant allows the force to keep the property for a year, while further financial investigations are carried out.
