The following is a press release from Heroes Defense.

IDAHO FALLS – A local non-profit organization raised over $ 140,000 at a recent event.

Heroes Defense, which provides support, resources and aid to those fighting for our freedoms and the American way of life, hosted a banquet and auction at the Hilton Garden Inn to mark the 20th anniversary of September 11.

Funds raised will provide much-needed items, such as AEDs for the Idaho Falls Police Department, and / or updated equipment for other local fire departments.

Heroes Defense was organized by Paul Davis Restoration and Qal-Tek Associates to defend our nation’s heroes and ensure that their bravery is both recognized and rewarded.

For more than 50 years, Paul Davis Restoration has restored residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, mold, storms and disasters.

Qal-tek and Associates have provided instrumentation and training solutions and support for our nation’s military response and organizations for over 20 years.

Our fundraisers recognize and benefit the following organizations:

  1. Idaho Fallen Firefighter Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that recognizes deaths in the line of duty as career firefighters and volunteer firefighters in the state of Idaho. The organization supports the families of injured or deceased firefighters and offers a variety of programs to support the health and safety of firefighters statewide.
  2. The FOOLS of Eastern Idaho (Society of the Fraternal Order of Leatherheads); which is made up of firefighters who train paid or volunteer firefighters while preserving the tradition and heritage of the fire service.
  3. Our local fire and police departments with necessary items beyond what our taxes can provide.
