What to avoid buying in October

While these “before Black Friday” sales will offer great deals on a wide variety of products, shoppers should refrain from purchasing luxury items when they are getting ready to shop for the holiday season. Even though buyers might be tempted to beat the rush, McGrath said they won’t find the best deals. McGrath says to put perfumes, new models of phones and televisions on hold until Black Friday sales in November.
